Cofete

Such is the natural beauty of Cofete that is has been designated a National Park and an area of outstanding beauty. The village of the same name can be found by driving towards the harbour at Morro Jable and about 200 metres before there is a small sign on the right pointing to "Cofete 20kms". Beware this is a dirt track so check beforehand with your car hire company.

There is a small bar in Cofete and a beach that just goes on and on, but well worth a day trip even if you are staying in Corralejo at the opposite end of the island.
