Lanzarote

Lanzarote is just a 30 minute ferry journey from Corralejo (to Playa Blanca). Depending on which service you use, they run from Corralejo at 8am and the last one back is 7pm from Playa Blanca (but check before you go just in case).

There´s plenty to see on the island, ranging from just about everything to do with Cesar Manrique (who was totally responsible for transforming the drab parts into some really spectacular sights), to "Fire Mountain" and the Olympians retreat of La Santa, the world famous sports village. Or just browse around the shops in Puerto del Carmen and get on those beaches!!!
